Combined Health Information Database (CHID)
A database of health promotion and education materials not indexed elsewhere. Emphasis on medical problems, such as AIDS, eating disorders, Alzheimers. Simple or detailed keyword search.
Melvyl
The University of California library catalog. You can search by title, author, subject, or all database fields. Note: This is a catalogue of the library's collections, not the Web. You cannot search content.
PsycARTICLES
Description of APA’s full-text database of journal articles. Currently covers 42 journals, 1988-present, with earlier volumes in production. Links to try out the database and subscribe on a daily basis.
Psych Crawler
A searchable index of web content relevant to psychology, developed by the American Psychological Association.
PsycINFO Direct
Direct access to APA’s huge database of citations, most with abstracts or summaries, from 1887 - present. Access by paid annual subscription or $9.95 for a 24-hour period.

PubMed (National Library of Medicine Database)
MEDLINE (9 million citations from 1966 to present) and PREMEDLINE (earlier citations) search service. More user friendly than Internet Grateful Med. Links to Loansome Doc, a service which lets you order full text articles once you have established an agreement with a cooperating local medical library.

Mental Help Net
A large professional/lay guide that is maintained by a staff of professionals and Includes news, Self-Help Sourcebook of support groups and networks, an online self-help book, Clinician’s Yellow Pages, links to thousands of web sites, and its own newsletter.
Merck Manual
Merck has made publications available online: the entire Merck Manual of Diagnosis and Therapy and The Merck Manual of Geriatrics, and part of their Merck Manual of Medicine, Home Edition.
