Depression and anxiety can improve. Move forward with support. Most members notice some improvement within a few weeks and lasting change over time as they share honestly with others, decrease isolation, and change patterns that feed depression and anxiety. This ongoing group offers support and skill building for members suffering with depression. I combine ongoing psychodynamic group interaction with skill development, some cognitive behavioral learning, mindfulness and the latest research on effective mood management.
The group is a welcoming space for diverse members and includes women of color, women who are straight and queer, and women from 30-70 yrs. of age.
Women are insightful, supportive and growth oriented.
